30's Villa, Amsterdam South
This villa will undergo a complete renovation in which ways will be sought to regain the original atmosphere and character.
We would like to restore this beautiful villa to its full glory. The location is great and everything is there to make it a wonderful family home. However, the layout must be completely adapted to the times.
The villa was built in the interwar period, or the 'roaring twenties'. Now, a hundred years later, we are trying to regain the original atmosphere of the building by, for example, replacing all window frames and returning them to the original proportions. The hall will be enlarged and there will be a lazy staircase, a comfortable staircase that rises less steeply. The layout of the villa has been completely transformed and adapted to the living needs of today.
